This course is perfect for absolute beginners, the tarot-curious, and anyone who wants to build a strong intuitive foundation without memorising 78 card meanings.
You’ll need:

A tarot deck (A Rider–Waite–Smith based deck)

Replays will be circulated within 24hrs of the class and you will have access to the recordings for 6 months.  Â
It’s a 6-week journey as follows:

⏰ Time: 6-8pm UK / 1-3pm EST / 10-12pm PAC / 7-9pm CET
There is a one week gap planned every two weeks to allow time to integrate or catch up on replays.
Allow 2 hours.
Yes. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident reading for yourself and have the foundations to read for others.
Both. You’ll learn the traditional structure of tarot, but you’ll also learn how to trust your own intuitive guidance so your readings feel natural, not memorised.
No formal homework.
You will be given gentle practice exercises each week to help deepen your learning. These are optional but highly supportive.
Absolutely. The course focuses on symbolism, intuition, self-reflection, and practical guidance. No specific beliefs required.
You need a Rider Waite Smith inspired deck. I don't enjoy the illustrations on the original deck so prefer decks that are inspired by RWS but are prettier:

Yes. Each live session includes time for questions.
You're also welcome to book in 1:1 mentoring time with Kia here.
You’ll have a foundational understanding of the tarot structure, confidence with spreads, and the ability to read intuitively on your own.Â
You will have the option to join a monthly online Tarot practise and refresher circle with fellow students for ÂŁ10 a month.Â
There will also be an opportunity to join an Intermediate Tarot Course with Kia later in the year, where you’ll deepen your skills and cover more advanced reading techniques such as elementals, clusters, sequences, and numerology.
